I am a lyricist. Several years ago I wrote some lyrics that my husband took to his friend and then bandmate Lucas Kelm, who paired them with music he had been writing. My untitled song became “The Man with No Name,” played full band by Lucas for Sheriff or acoustically by Lucas on solo gigs. Not too long after, I wrote the lyrics for “Barman,” which was also brought to life with music by Lucas and the band.
